Privacy Policy
Use of the Website You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the Website. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration or purchase processes and to update it as needed. Gift Certificates 2.1 Gift certificates (including digital/e-gift certificates) are issued by Ice Hair Studio and are redeemable only for services and products at our Akron salon. 2.2 Pursuant to Ohio law (including consumer protection rules and gift card regulations): Gift certificates generally do not expire and are not subject to dormancy, inactivity, or service fees that reduce their value over time (with limited exceptions under state law). As a salon-specific service provider, our gift certificates do not expire and are not subject to fees, except where permitted by law. If the remaining balance is low (as defined by applicable law), it may be redeemable in cash or otherwise handled per Ohio requirements upon request. 2.3 Gift certificates are non-transferable (except as a gift), non-refundable, and cannot be redeemed for cash except as required by law. They cannot be resold or used for unauthorized promotional purposes. Lost or stolen certificates will not be replaced or refunded. 2.4 All gift certificate sales are final. No refunds or exchanges except as required by law. Online Booking and Appointments 3.1 Our online booking system allows you to schedule appointments for hair and nail services (e.g., cuts, color, highlights, perms, manicures/pedicures). Availability is subject to stylist/technician schedules and salon capacity. 3.2 Credit Card Hold Requirement: To secure your appointment, a valid credit or debit card must be provided at the time of booking. This is a security hold only and does not constitute a charge unless a fee applies (see Cancellation Policy above). We use a secure third-party payment processor to store and process card information. 3.3 Cancellation and No-Show Policy: Refer to our separate Cancellation Policy for full details. In summary: Cancellations/rescheduling require at least 24 hours' notice via phone at (330) 366-9900. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee of up to 50% of the estimated service cost, charged to the card on file. Deposits may apply for select appointments and are forfeited on late cancellation/no-show. 3.4 We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking for any reason, including but not limited to scheduling conflicts, non-payment of prior fees, or violation of salon policies. Payments 4.1 All prices are in U.S. dollars and include applicable sales tax where required. 4.2 We accept major credit/debit cards and other payment methods as displayed on the Website. By providing payment information, you authorize us (and our payment processor) to charge the card for purchases, deposits, fees, or balances due. 4.3 All purchases are final unless otherwise stated. No refunds on gift certificates or completed services except as required by law. Services and Availability Salon services are provided subject to our in-salon policies (e.g., health/safety protocols, stylist discretion). We reserve the right to refuse service to any client. Services and prices are subject to change without notice. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ice Hair Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Website, gift certificates, or booked services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. Indemnification You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Website or services. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Summit County, Ohio. You agree to waive any objection to venue or inconvenience of forum. Changes to Terms We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on the Website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
