At Studio 401, we value your time and ours. Your appointments are reserved especially for you, and last-minute changes or missed appointments impact our stylists and other clients waiting for openings. To help us serve everyone better, please follow these guidelines: Cancellations or Rescheduling: We kindly ask for you to do so as soon as possible. This allows us to offer the time slot to someone on our waitlist. No-Shows (failure to arrive or cancel): You could be charged 100% of the scheduled service price. How to Cancel or Reschedule Please contact us by: Phone: (541) 924-2404 Or through our booking system (if applicable) We understand that emergencies happen. In cases of genuine unforeseen circumstances, we may waive or reduce the fee at our discretion — just let us know as soon as possible. Additional Notes Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may require a pre payment for future bookings. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation — it helps us keep our schedule running smoothly so we can provide the best experience for everyone.

1. Introduction Welcome to Studio 401 ("we," "us," or "our"), a professional hair and beauty salon located at 337 1st Ave. W, Downtown Albany, OR 97321. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of services to you ("you" or "Client") and your use of our booking system, website (if applicable), and salon facilities. By booking an appointment, purchasing a service, or entering our premises, you agree to be bound by these Terms. 2. Services We specialize in hair cutting services. Services are performed by a licensed professional. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if, in our professional opinion, it is unsafe, unethical, or likely to cause damage (e.g., severely compromised hair, inappropriate requests, or disruptive behavior). 3. Appointments and Booking Appointments are recomended and can be booked by phone, or any online system we may use. We recommend booking in advance, especially for peak times. Cancellations & No-Shows: Please provide at least 24 hours, notice for cancellations or rescheduling if possible. Late cancellations, and Repeated no-shows may result in requiring a deposit for future bookings. We make reasonable efforts to start appointments on time but are not responsible for delays caused by previous clients running over or unforeseen circumstances. 4. Payments and Pricing All prices are displayed in the salon or quoted at booking and include Oregon state and local taxes where applicable. Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and any other methods we advertise. Gratuities are not included and are at your discretion. Gift cards/certificates are non-refundable and valid for [specify period, e.g., 12 months] from purchase unless required by law. 5. Patch Tests and Allergies N/A 6. Liability and Health & Safety You use our services at your own risk. We are not responsible for damage to hair, scalp, skin, clothing, or personal property unless caused by our gross negligence. We follow all Oregon Board of Cosmetology sanitation and safety standards. In the unlikely event of injury due to our negligence, our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided. We are not responsible for lost or stolen personal items. 7. Children and Minors Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising children in the salon at all times. We love working with kids but reserve the right to refuse service if a child is disruptive or unsafe. 8. Conduct We maintain a respectful, inclusive environment. Disruptive, abusive, discriminatory, or unsafe behavior will result in immediate termination of service without refund and possible refusal of future service. No animals (except certified service animals) are allowed. 9. Privacy We collect personal information (name, contact details, service history) solely for booking, service provision, and communication. We do not sell your information. We comply with applicable privacy laws. 10. Changes to Services or Terms We may update prices, services, or these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance. 11. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon. Any disputes shall be resolved in Linn County courts.
